Holocaust Vocabulary List
1. anti-Semitism-  (n.) hatred toward or discrimination against
people because of their religion

2. concentration camp-  (n.) a prison camp for people who are
feared by a government (political prisoners)

3.dictator- (n.) a ruler of a country who has complete power

4.emigrate- (v.)to leave your home country to move to another

5. Holocaust- (n.) a time in history when there was a mass killing
    of European Jews by Nazi Germany during WW II

6. invasion- (n.) the entering of a country as an enemy to try to take
    control

7. overthrow- (v.) to replace one government with another using violence

8. ration- (v.) to limit the amount of something given out, such as gas and  
    food, usually during a war

9.refugees- (n.)people who flee from a place to find safety and protection   
   somewhere else

10. traitor- (n.)a person who betrays his/her own country and
      helps its enemies
