The students are very excited for the upcoming Winter Break! We are doing our best to stay focused and engaged in the classroom. There seems to be a bit of a fuss about the laws passes by "King Bell" this morning. By royal decree, all citizens must sit boy/girl in the lunchroom. In addition, one of the king's loyal subjects, Ms. Wallace, Duchess of York, reported that the fifth grade students have not treated the playground equipment appropriately. Upon her suggestion, the king ordered a royal decree that no balls could be played with at recess. The students rallied at recess, chanting about Cwanting freedom; however, King Bell seemed unaffected by their pleas. She was vaguely amuzed by a letter written by John Michael oposing the laws and threatening consequences if they were not repealed!
