Revolving Around the Revolution
The students are doing great things working together as a colony to gain knowledge about the Revolutionary War period. They are working in colonies to complete Internet Scavenger hunts, learn about and sequence important event leading up to the Revolutionary War, design a flag for their colony, compare historical maps, and create a famous Revolutionary Figure baseball card. Tomorrow our class will be Revolving Around the Revolution including 6 different hands-on activities that will really excite the students and bring this time period to life. Thanks so much to all who volunteered to come in and help tomorrow.
In the True Spirit of the Season...
As a class we decided to make gifts for kids in need to help them celebrate the holiday season. The students planned every aspect of the project, including what to make, what supplies were needed, and how they would divide up the labor. Watching them work together to help others is truly an amazing thing.
