Wow! It has been a busy week. The students are doing an amazing job researching information for their dodecahedrons. After choosing a topic of interest related to landforms or geography, they headed onto the Internet or to the library to research interesting information to share. They are well on their way to creating a mathematical, geographical masterpiece! We are now delving deeper into PEAK. The students officially began working on their learning contracts today. Most of the learning contract will be completed in school, so don't be alarmed if you don't see it coming home at night. Peak Vocabulary List #2 will be available tomorrow. In math, we took our first big place value quiz today. We are moving on to writing decimals as fractions and percents, as well as solving word problems.
