We are getting back in the swing of things and settling into 5th grade. The students will begin switching classes for math on Tuesday, September 2. Presently, we are reviewing previously learned math skills and concepts. We are hoping to begin The Egypt Game on Monday. (Just awaiting the arrival of the ordered books!) In Science, the students studying the water cycle.  There will be a science quiz on what they are learning next week on Wednesday September 8.  The quiz will include concepts and key vocabulary learned in class. Weekly vocabulary quizzes are also returning next week- Yipee! We teachers get excited about great vocabulary =)  I will post the words next week.  The definitions will be found in their Language Arts composition books each week.
